Crazy Town Director Wins Award

Tartfuel wants to congratulate our own Jules Dameron, who won the award for Best Director at the MockFest Film Festival 2014 last night. Mockfest was held at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood, California. Jules is a truly talented director and has worked with Carson Turell on several projects to date. Until just a couple of years ago, Jules had spent the majority of her career working on deaf film and video productions, as she, herself is deaf.

With Crazy Town she was launched into mainstream filmmaking and now straddles both communities in both deaf and hearing productions, including a popular music video for country music singer Tim Sweeney.
